Reduced maintenance and wear part cost: existing cut-size sheeters benefit from new electrically driven linear guide system

TIP C 2076

Will-Pemco’s Technical Improvement Program (T.I.P.) for cut-size sheeters provides, based on current technology, dedicated solutions for customers to increase the availability of their existing equipment, to reduce maintenance costs or to improve product quality.

For existing cut-size sheeters, a new electrically driven linear guide system for front stoppers (T.I.P. module C 2076) from Will-Pemco helps customers to improve ream alignment and to significantly reduce maintenance and wear parts cost.

The T.I.P. upgrade exchanges the existing “Rollon” linear guide system for the front stoppers with a new modern, electrically driven linear guide system. This improvement is available for certain existing E.C.H. Will cut-size sheeters type SLK Procut and SLK 490 (8 pockets) with AMK-AZ/KW drive system. With the electrical support, the complete movement of the front stoppers is changed. An extra step is included to avoid abrupt stopping of the front stopper fingers, resulting in enhanced product quality through improved ream alignment. Wear, tear and maintenance costs are significantly reduced. Shock absorbers, for example, are no longer necessary and the new durable linear guide system, being a closed system, is protected against dust contamination.
